The manual clamping system is an effective and economical clamp for bending machines, which is used to change molds infrequently. The manual clamping of the mold by the robot bending machine is a basic and time-consuming clamping method, which requires the bending operator to manually lock each splint. When the independent splints are locked one by one, they cannot automatically form a complete clamping line. The clamping force of each mold is uneven, and the mold cannot be immediately centering, which requires time-consuming debugging and relies on experienced operators. In order to overcome the dependence on labor, avoid debugging, and improve accuracy, the manual clamping system of the clamp pin structure developed by WILA can provide consistent clamping force over the entire working length, so that each mold does not need to be debugged after clamping. The manual clamping band automatic seating and automatic calibration mechanism of the clamping pin structure enables the mold to be accurately centered and seated.

The automatic clamping system is suitable for bending machine clamps with frequent and rapid mold changes. Based on the concept of "single point operation", the automatic mold clamping system can realize the process of mold clamping and demolding with only one button, eliminating the tedious manual locking experience. The power source of the automatic clamping system of the robot bending machine is electric, hydraulic and pneumatic. The basic automatic clamping system consists of many independent clamping plates and power cylinders, driven by the above power source. Although this clamping system avoids the time-consuming manual locking method, the positioning accuracy of the mold still exists because the clamping plate is still independent in section. How to avoid activating only one clamping plate to clamp the mold separately? The disadvantage of poor accuracy in this way can be achieved by using the media drive mechanism to clamp the mold as a whole over the entire length of the bending machine.
