Flexible Automation for PX Punch

Belgium, LVD announced the release of an internationally advanced flexible automation system FA-P system for punching machines. Provide automatic loading/unloading capability, intelligent workpiece sorting directly to large stacking areas. FA-P systems are currently available for PX presses.

Advanced Workpiece Sorting

The maximum size of the FA-P can be fed 3050 x 1525mm, the thickness of the plate can reach 4mm, and the maximum load of the two exchangeable worktables is 3000kg.

Two independent gripper arms are automatically positioned to the workpiece. The suction cup will be activated according to the data configured by the LVD off-line programming software CADMAN?-P. The compact arrangement of small suction cups can easily pick up small workpieces, and the large suction cups can be activated when picking up small workpieces or entire plates.

Large stacking area

Can place 8 European pallets 8m2 large sheet stacking area. A unique laser distance sensor measures pallet and workpiece stacking height. According to the measurement results, the suction cup is positioned smoothly above the workpiece, and the stack is perfect. Pallets do not need to be exchanged between stacking areas. The finished sheet metal is quickly transferred from the machine tool to the pallet, reducing the unloading time.

Touch-A sorting control system

According to the work list, the height of the material pile is measured, and the Touch-A software controls the sorting of the workpiece to the designated tray. Before the last operation is completed, the sorting of new jobs can start on other trays. In addition, the Touch-A allows the operator to modify the sorting stacked trays. At the end of the work, the control system counts and checks the number of parts in each pile.
