The difference between fine blanking process and ordinary blanking process
2021-04-22
Fine blanking is precision blanking. Including strong edge pressing precision blanking, precision blanking of the concave die and precision blanking of the flat edge pressing. The production of automotive fine blanking parts is mainly based on strong blanking. The geometric shape, dimensional tolerance, shape tolerance and shear surface quality of fine blanking parts are much higher than those of ordinary blanking parts, and the fine blanking process plays an important role in the field of automobile parts manufacturing.
Main auto parts produced by fine blanking
Many stamped parts on automobiles are produced by fine blanking technology, such as racks, toothed plates, and cams on seat adjusters; ratchet wheels, pawls, adjusting toothed plates, pull arms, push rods, webs, support plates, etc. in the brake system; Lock plate, card plate, safety block, etc. on the car lock; tongue, internal gear ring, pawl, etc. on the seat belt; driven plate on the clutch, etc.; shift fork on the transmission, etc; flange, thrust washer, etc. of the transmission system; tooth plate of the door glass lifter, etc.
Difference between fine blanking process and ordinary blanking process
There are essential differences between fine blanking process and ordinary blanking process. Ordinary blanking controls the tearing of sheet metal during blanking, while fine blanking tries its best to suppress the tearing of sheet metal during blanking. Fine blanking is always maintained as a whole before the parts are separated from the sheet, and the sheet metal is always in the process of plastic deformation during the fine blanking process.
In order to achieve this goal, the V-shaped blank holder ring and the counter-pressure plate press the sheet metal before blanking to prevent the movement of the inner and outer sheet metal during the blanking process. In addition, with the small gap between the convex and concave dies and the appropriate small fillet of the concave die, the three-way pressure stress state of the blanking local area is formed in the blanking process, thus ensuring the plastic deformation process of the blanking. In addition, the fine blanking material and lubrication state also have a great influence on the effect of fine blanking. Good plasticity, low deformation resistance, complete spheroidization, good dispersion, uniform distribution of fine spherical carbide tissue materials are most suitable for fine blanking. A good lubricant not only improves the quality of fine-blanking parts, but also helps to reduce the wear of the mold and increase the service life of the mold.
