Flexible automation for PX punch

Belgium, LVD announced the release of FA-P system, a flexible automation system for punching machines with international advanced level. Provide automatic loading/unloading capability, intelligent workpiece sorting directly to large stacking area. The FA-P system is currently available for PX presses.

Advanced workpiece sorting

FA-P can be loaded with a maximum board size of 3050 x 1525mm, a board thickness of up to 4mm, and two exchangeable tables with a maximum load of 3000kg.

Two independent grab arms are automatically positioned to the workpiece. The suction cup will start according to the data configured by the LVD offline programming software CADMAN?-P. Small suction cups with compact arrangement can easily pick up small workpieces, and large suction cups can be started when picking up small workpieces or entire plates.

Large stacking area

8m2 large sheet stacking area where 8 European pallets can be placed. The unique laser distance sensor can measure the stacking height of pallets and workpieces. According to the measurement results, the suction cup is positioned smoothly above the workpiece, and the stacking is perfect. Pallets do not need to be exchanged between stacking areas. The washed sheet is quickly transferred from the machine to the pallet, reducing the unloading time.

Touch-A sorting control system

Measure the stack height according to the work list, Touch-A software controls the workpiece sorting to the specified pallet. Before the end of the previous operation, the sorting of new tasks can be started on other pallets. In addition, Touch-A allows the operator to modify the sorted and stacked pallets. After the work is completed, the control system counts and proofreads the number of parts in each stack
